Hi! My name is Charlotte. I am a recent PhD (French cultural and literary studies), avid home cook, and mom of a little boy born in June 2011. This blog started when I began introducing new foods to my son and become interested in how people around the world feed their children. I got the idea to start a dialogue on the topic of different cultures’ classic childhood foods, and assemble as many recipes, stories, and photos as I can that will inform and inspire people wherever they may be. As it evolved, I found myself exploring all of the foods that make us nostalgic. It has been so much fun! So I will continue posting the results of my research, and I am counting on you to share your own cultures with me.
What are the foods that children love in your culture? Do you have any special memories of delicious foods you ate as a child? What foods make you the most nostalgic? Please share! Also find me on twitter, at @childrenstable.
